Taking Care Of Lawn After Severe Winter
You might be having a beautiful lawn in your backyard or on front of your house. It is a very beautiful feeling to enjoy on our lawn if it’s clean. Lawns can be used for many purposes such as parties, ceremonies, conferences or any other event which you think can be taken without damaging your lawn. It is very difficult to make a lawn and even more difficult is to take care of that lawn. Now taking care of your lawn depends on different aspects. First and foremost, the main aspect is the weather. The area where you are living is very important aspect when you have a lawn or planning to create one. In North America, at different places the climate and weather is different and almost each season becomes severe at least once in a year. Though some areas like California do not expect much severe weathers but states such as Texas, Florida expects very severe weather in fall or winter in states such as Massachusetts or North Dakota. If you are living in a chilly area like North Dakota or Wisconsin then you may expect lots of snowfall which may damage your lawn. First of all after a severe winter and snowfall, you should clean up your lawn through the entire area in spring with a rake or a leaf. Sometimes you may even see a yellow patch in a shape of circle or hole, then it is actually a fungus and you should clean that yellow patch.
The patches and holes which are completely dried then you have to clean those patches as soon as possible because if these holes and patches are not cleaned as soon as possible then weeds might grow and you will face more problems. It is always recommended that you buy a new good quality soil for your lawn and put this soil wherever required. After doing the above steps, now you can add more seeds in your lawn. This has to be done because the areas where the lawn has been damaged totally with the soil, at such places you will have to add soil and new seeds. And yes, if you are buying new seeds from the market then see to it that you are buying good quality seeds as low quality seeds might contain weeds into them.
